BIO

I’m a midwestern next-door-friendly professional cast as the lawyer, dad, doctor, preacher guy who takes charge with a warm smile and cunning desire. I’m also a great listener and true confidante. My characters tend to be trusted experts with an air of authority yet vulnerable or dry-witted: the published doctor performing dark experiments, the winning politico with backroom shadiness, the second only to God preacher or the doting dad who thinks he knows best, the optimistic friend, the lawyer trying to do right, etc.

I love story-telling, using the wide ranges of personalities I met moving through 8 different states. Living and learning in Texas developed my southern sensibility while my time in Chicago cultivated my sharper, more calculating outlook. I am passionate about exploring the uniqueness of individuals, the benefit of our shared experiences, and helping create an experience that motivates us all toward our best humanity.

Writing and designing are passions in which I can color the world around me.

When not performing, I work with non-profits in managing, teaching and mentoring, with proficiency in trouble-shooting and planning. I break up that serious stuff with travel and the outdoors.
